MORE CONVENIENCE / EASY INSTALLATION

M1 AUTOWERK BOLT CONVERTER STUD CONVERSION

Easy installation with 5mm Allen key. Just hang the wheel on the M1 Bolt Converters once they have been installed.

Installation

  1. Properly lift and support the car and remove wheels.
  2. Clean all threaded holes thoroughly with brake cleaner and brush to remove any traces of grease or anti-seize compound.
  3. Apply thread locker to the shorter section of threads on the conversion bolt.
  4. Insert the short threaded section of the conversion bolts into each threaded hole and screw into hubs by hand. Then use a 5mm Allen socket and hand tighten to reach the typical torque range. Do not torque conversion bolt into the hub. Hand tightens only.
  5. Install wheels by using proper lug nuts with a proper torque wrench. Do not use an impact wrench. Recommend to use open-ended lug nuts, or min 50 mm lengths.

Removal

  • To remove, please thread two nuts on to the M1 Bolt Converter. Lock them together. Then use a wrench on a nut that closest to the hub to loosen and remove the bolt converter.
