       M1 Bolt Converter has been neatly CAD designed, calculated, and perfectioned on the computer drawings by our R&D team, who is PhD engineers of Robotics Engineering from Kings College University of United Kingdom.  It has been calculated millimeter by millimeter, to make sure that it will work perfectly with wheel hubs, and fits up to 30 mm spacers. Many prototypes have been made during the research & development, to try fitting with the real wheel hubs & spacers. We guarantee that our M1 75mm length can add spacers up to 30mm THK, and there is enough thread left for lug nuts to lock the wheels.

       M1 Bolt Converter was made of Chromoly Steel [CrMo], which we have been researched and developed that it is the best material for a stud conversion. It is stronger and harder than ordinary carbon steel. It has been forged and hardened to strengthen itself, and finished with EDP coating, which is the top class of anti-corrosion finished. EDP coating is about 20 times better than ordinary Black Phosphate finishing. Lab testing proved that EDP coating is corrosion resistance more than 1,000 hours of salt spray test, while Black Phosphate is about 48 hours. EASY INSTALLATION

M1 AUTOWERK BOLT CONVERTER STUD CONVERSION
Easy installation with 5mm Allen key. Just hang the wheel on the M1 Bolt Converters once they have been installed.

Installation

  1. Properly lift and support the car and remove wheels.
  2. Clean all threaded holes thoroughly with brake cleaner and brush to remove any traces of grease or anti-seize compound.
  3. Apply thread locker to the shorter section of threads on the conversion bolt.
  4. Insert the short threaded section of the conversion bolts into each threaded hole and screw into hubs by hand. Then use a 5mm Allen socket and hand tighten to reach the typical torque range. Do not torque conversion bolt into the hub. Hand tightens only.
  5. Install wheels by using proper lug nuts with a proper torque wrench. Do not use an impact wrench. Recommend to use open-ended lug nuts, or min 50 mm lengths.

Removal

  • To remove, please thread two nuts on to the M1 Bolt Converter. Lock them together. Then use a wrench on a nut that closest to the hub to loosen and remove the bolt converter.
