Ulltimate Tensile Strength Test

We are testing the new model M1 Bolt Converter, EVO2 & EVO3, DIN 10.9 class stud conversion. Even the stud is One Size Fits All, but it is shorter than the testing machine can hold. So, we need to make a jig holder to hold our specimens.

The new model EVO2 & EVO3 have a new feature. It is 65mm long (10mm shorter than previous model, EVO1). This size make you are able to use the close-ended type of lug nuts.

Hardness test.

We've the super strong SKD11 steel jig tools with heat treatmented to be 60 HRC hardness. The M1 stud is stronger than the jig. It broke the jig tools!

Update 2015.08.05

The jig tools have made, to hold the M1 stud to test their Ultimate Tensile Strength. It was made of SKD11 Tool Steel. The jig tools need to have heat treatment in the final process tomake it superior strong before using it.

Update 2015.08.04

The M1 EVO2 & EVO3 is 65mm long. This will make the stud fit with close-ended lug nuts without non-spacer added. But it is shorter than the machine can hold. So, we have to make a jig tool to hold the stud, and pull it to test its Ultimate Tensile Strength.

Update 2015.06.17

The prototype of M1 EVO2 & EVO3 has finished. We have try put it on our VW Scirocco demo car. And they fit perfectly! The new model M1 EVO2 & EVO3 will fit spacers up to 20mm thick.
